When “Good Data” Goes Bad….

I just had a really funny experience, with good data that is…  I just thought I’d pass this along.  I “Friended” my wife who just got a facebook account.  Facebook decided that “we were just married” and updated my status to say something like: “Daniel Linstedt is married to Julie Linstedt”  That’s all well & good, but I’ve been married to Julie for over 16 years.  One of my friends “congratulated” me on my new status…   The problem is: the data is good, but the assumption the software algorithm is using is bad.  Facebook should have NEVER updated my status for me, especially in this way…  Anyhow, it’s just a funny life story that I thought I’d pass along.  If you have something funny you’d like to share, I’d love to hear it, and don’t forget to LIKE my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/LearnDataVault  (flexible scalable DW design)

Waiting to hear your funny story….

Dan Linstedt

Congrats with the marriage 16 year ago Dan.

25 years ago I had an experience with A Really Bad Address.
