Thanx for writing a book about datavault. I think that we were all waiting for this to happen! Currently reading your published chapter and it looks great. Hope to comment/ask questions in the near future.

    Hi Hennie,

Thank-you for your comment. It would be wonderful to hear from you on the LearnDataVault web-page, you can “log back in” by re-entering your details on the home page, and clicking “GET ACCESS” again. It will get you back to the same page you downloaded the book from.

    Thank-you kindly,
    Dan Linstedt

I had some issues when registering on the site to get access to the videos…I did receive Chapter 1 in email though…so I will be going through that soon.

Hi Jonathan, In order to access the videos you *must* allow cookies, and be up to date with Flash player 10 at least. Also, your fire-wall must allow streaming video through. If you find an error, saying *…flv cannot be accessed, then most likely your firewall is set to not allow streaming video.

    Hope this helps,

Congratulations on the book Dan. It’s a book I for one have been waiting for a very long time and one that the BI industry really needs.

Look very much forward to reading the rest of the book.

    best regards,

After successful implementation of the Data Vault for my customer’s EDW, they made a decision to re-platform the Data Vault to Teradata. Additionally, my customer requested creating of few new Business areas of the EDW using Teradata 13.x on TD Data Warehouse Appliance 2650. The project is scheduled to take off next month and I cannot wait to sink my teeth into it.

Thanks Dan for such a robust model and methodology as Data vault. Without this knowledge, I will not be able to achieve the customer’s request for scalable, inexpensive, and healthy DW system. Look forward to your book.
