This article was written by a couple of authors and submitted to a conference that happened recently. It walks through some of the conceptual modeling around Data Vault, as well as taking a look at Anchor Modeling, and common approaches. Clash of the Titans: Post on Kimball Forum

Published on 2011/08/26 by in Data Vault, News

The Data Vault Model is NOT the be-all-end-all solution to data warehousing, it IS a single evolutionary step forward, as it is a Hybrid design. If you don’t feel pain in your current implementation, then you may not be a candidate for the Data Vault model and methodology.
